WE SUPPORT OUR CUSTOMERS DURING ALL PHASES OF THE PROJECT, ENSURING MAXIMUM ADHERENCE TO TIMELINES, BUDGETS AND THE HIGHEST QUALITY STANDARDS

We believe that a successful project is only possible by applying advanced, results-oriented management. Our team of experienced project managers is able to follow complex projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

Our long experience in the field, as well as advanced technical expertise and the ability to effectively coordinate resources, allow us to be a reference point and a reliable partner for our clients. We optimize all operations, reducing risks and maximizing project value, thus ensuring the very success of the construction initiative and the maximum satisfaction for the stakeholders involved.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: WE DO AND HOW WE DO IT

Our project management service in the area of facilities and infrastructure involves planning, organizing and controlling resources and activities in order to achieve a specific goal within a defined time frame.

Our projects are never just simple numbers: we draw on our extensive knowledge in different areas to go beyond the main objectives of the project itself and add value for our clients and the communities in which they operate, without ever increasing bureaucracy or cost.

Project management activities may vary depending on the context and methodology used, but they follow a common process:

DEFINITION OF OBJECTIVES AND PROJECT:

We clearly identify objectives and define expected outcomes. We take care of making a detailed plan of activities, resources, time and budget, with subsequent sequencing of them and creation of a timeline.

RESOURCE ALLOCATION:

We identify and allocate the necessary resources, including materials, funding, and team organization structure.

ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EFFECTIVE WORKING TEAM:

We select working team members, defining roles and responsibilities and promoting effective communication within the team.

PROJECT EXECUTION:

We plan and schedule the project using WBS and time schedules (Gantt Chart), conducting time analysis and deviation assessments. We coordinate team activities, resolving any problems and managing as best as possible any challenges that may arise.

CONTROL AND MONITORING:

We monitor performance against the plan, identify deviations and problems, and implement any corrective measures.

For project control and monitoring, we make use of so-called “earned value” techniques (translatable as “earned value” or “value obtained”), which allow us to measure the “health” of the project through the application of appropriate metrics. This methodology involves three main key concepts:

Planned value (PV) – planned value: represents the value of planned work at the specific time of the project, in other words, the value that should have been obtained according to the schedule.

Earned value (EV) – obtained value: represents the value of the work actually completed up to a certain point in time and thus what was “earned” or realized.

Actual cost (AC) – represents the cost actually incurred for the work done up to a certain point in time.

Once these three values have been obtained, some key metrics can be calculated to assess project performance, namely:

Cost performance index (CPI): cpi=ev/ac indicates how much value was obtained for each unit of actual cost. If cpi is greater than 1, the project is performing below the planned budget.

Schedule performance index (SPI): spi=ev/pv indicates how much work has been completed compared to what was planned. If spi is greater than 1, the project is executing ahead of schedule.

In fact, these indicators provide our team and stakeholders with a clear view of project performance against what was planned, allowing us to take corrective action or make changes to the schedule if necessary

CHANGE MANAGEMENT:

We take the time to carefully evaluate requests for changes to the project, adjusting the plan accordingly if they are previously approved. We also take care to communicate regularly with the team, stakeholders, and others involved, managing expectations as best we can and disclosing important information

RISK MANAGEMENT:

We identify and assess potential risks, implementing all necessary strategies to mitigate and/or manage them.

PROJECT CLOSURE:

We conduct an evaluation of project completion against objectives, with documentation of lessons learned, release of resources and formal project closure.

PROJECT EVALUATION:

We analyze the performance of the project, identifying its positive aspects and areas for improvement.
